Their naming style: hyphenated, word names, pretty oddball
Family background: Alwin and Neila are both native Minnesotans. They met at a particularly incomprehensible math class at Hamline University. They helped each other through it, and quickly became good friends. Eventually they learned that they were both going to take the same internship after college and agreed to buy a house together. Their friendship turned to love, and after dating for two years they got married. They moved the Canby to be close to Neila’s family and took jobs at a small startup. Though Neila cannot have children, they have both always wanted to have a family and are hoping to adopt.
Neila can speak Danish, German, and Spanish to some degree of fluency. Both Neila and Alwin come from Lutheran families but do not practice.
