James is an English teacher, Annika is a journalist/author.
Annika is Swedish, so they know that their children will have names that works in either country and is easy to pronounce and spell for their families. They both speak multiple languages; James speaks English, French and German, Annika Swedish, English and Italian.
1) What age ranges do they want the children to be? Between six months-3 years old.
2) Whereabouts in the world do they want to adopt from? Europe
3) Would they adopt multiples (twins/triplets/etc)? No
4) Would they adopt children with health issues? Yes
5) Is religion/language important? No
Would they adopt children who don't currently speak their language? Yes
If they hold a particular religious belief (or are atheist/secular), would they adopt children from outside that background? Yes
6) Are they hoping to have their own biological children? Yes
7) Do they have a preference of gender? No
They would also like to adopt two cats and a dog.
