Thirteen years ago, Thomas and Amy decided to make it official and adopt Erin into their family. They felt that Erin had been the missing puzzle piece, and when she was adopted everything fit together. They decided that they didn’t need any more children, and have enjoyed watching their children grow. Erin turned out to be very bright, and has pursued a career as a lawyer. It’s a very stressful job, and she tended to stop by the local coffee shop for a break. This was where she met her now husband, the owner of the shop. Her husband’s first name is a short form of a Scottish name, and his middle name is anglicized.
