I'd be excited to meet a
Sibyl and even more excited to meet a
Cybele. Most of the excitement would probably be geeky excitement due to their rareness though, as I can't say I love either of their sounds. If I ignored the novelty of them, I'd say they're both okay-but-not-great to me. One reminds me of 'civil' and the other of 'civilly' but I get past that pretty easily.
It's hard for me to say which I like better; it's sort of apples to oranges.
Cybele is Greek chic and
Sibyl is a classic throwback. I think I very slightly prefer
Cybele because I like long vowels.
I know an
Abigail Sibyl, except
Sibyl has some weird spelling I can't remember, like Syble or something. Are you a fellow
Abigail hater? I think you are but I forget.
I think
Sibyl needs a classically feminine middle name.
