Leopold, NN Poldi: I would use Leo and not Poldi. Poldi sounds comical to me, but it might be okay where you live.
Lysander: It's growing on me, but I can't help but picture an arrogant, pompous sort of person when I hear it.
Samson: Cute and underused. I don't think of the Bible story, I just think it sounds neat.
