Bronte feels like a last name.
Edith sounds like an old lady, specifically
Edith Bunker from 'All in the Family'. Here in Canada, I don't think anyone has really used it since the 1940s, though I get that it's currently gaining popularity in the
UK. Still feels like an old lady to me.
I feel like both would make better middle names, but not with
Iris or
Emily.

Of your two
Edith combos, I like
Edith Emily much better, even though I dislike repeating initials. I don't dislike either of your
Bronte combos, but I do like
Bronte Francesca a bit better.
