Yup, Amanda has been very popular here in recent years, especially as a middle name. Actually Amanda is quite an old name in Finland, because it's been used here since the 19th century. The Amanda hype in the US in 1980's may still have influenced on the name's popularity in Finland (with the lag of time, though).
