Are you sure you want to encourage this drivel, by which black wood becomes a bright light without the benefit of matches?Must say, my favourite scriptural wood will always be shittim - regardless of meaning!

Just to clear it up, Eban is definitely a Jewish name, and it is translated as "stone". Even if it is derived from the name Ebenezer (stone/rock of help) which is biblical by the way, Eban still has the same meaning.
