[Opinions] Percival
Kinda following on with the Arthurian theme from the post below but anyway, what are your thoughts on Percival? I love it, but dislike Percy so currently have it in the mn spot for my combos. What's your opinions on the name? Do you think Percy is avoidable?
TIA

I love the name Percival. I think the nickname is totally avoidable.
Lol, the last time there was a thread about Percival (as far as I can recall) it ended up being locked in the middle of the night because it incited a massive, fiery argument.
Anyway, I've always loved Percival...and I do treat Percy as a separate name, so yes, it's avoidable if you want to avoid it.

I like Percival, though I'm much more partial to Parsifal, myself. I think it's a strong, knightly name, and it's very "red" to me; fiery and passionate. I don't care for Percy either, though. I do think it's avoidable, especially if you establish a different nn early on, like Perry (which I find infinitely better), or possibly Val?
I don't think Percy is avoidable, no.
