[Opinions] Jeremiah

prefer Jeremy but Jeremiah is still good

I really like Jeremiah. I like it loads better than Jeremy. Jeremiah has a lovely flow and was less common when I was growing up.
I would never think to call Jeremiah, Jerry, honestly. So I think that could be some what avoidable if you liked it as a first name.
I think Robert Jeremiah is classically handsome. I do prefer Jeremiah Robert, though.
Nahum isn't a name I'm familiar with enough to like, I'm not even sure how it is pronounced.
However, I have always had a soft spot for Amos. It conjures up the image of someone wise, gentle, but strong.

I love the name Jeremiah, but because of the possible nns, I too prefer it as a mn. Robert Jeremiah is alright, though I am not a big fan of Robert. Nahum is a name I have not really given much thought to, but it's alright. I like the meaning. Amos I like a lot. It's a name that is so rare, but quite nice really.
I like plain old Jerry the best. It makes me think of ice cream and a certain mouse. Out of Jeremiah and Jeremy I'd take Jeremy. Robert Jeremiah isn't my style... Not big on either name. I once heard a horrid song on the radio, which I later found out was by a rapper named Jeremih, a name already disliked. Jeremy makes me think of germs.
Nahum - Not sure how to pronounce, but if I'm saying it right - nice enough.
Amos - Love this.
Hope this helped!

Jeremiah sounds masculine and ruggedly handsome yet traditional because of the Biblical name sake. I don't care for Jeremy. It sounds immature and weak compared to Jeremiah. Robert Jeremiah is okay. Nahum and Amos sound a little to old testament to me. Even though Jeremiah is also from the old testament, it sounds less dated and harsh some how.
I love, love, love Jeremiah and I actually think Jerry can be sweet. Robert Jeremiah is a nice name.
