[Opinions] Inga, Reagan, Morgana
Thoughts on the trio? I'm finding myself very fond of them today. Pronouncing Reagan as RAY-gən, but undecided on Reagan vs. Regan.
Much obliged!

I've really been feeling the love for Regan (long e sound) lately. Reagan is too presidential and doesn't do much for me. Morgana is pretty. Still, I'm reminded of the word 'morgue.' Not sure I could ever really like it. Inga is cute though NMS. As a trio, Regan and Morgana seem to gel while Inga is the odd one out.
Inga is so stereotypically Swedish, the "Inga from Sweden" stereotype...although it's not a very common name and definitely not poular today, maybe because it can also mean "nobody" (in plural form). I don't like it, although as a child I knew a very sweet old lady called Inga.
Reagan - ugh. Not my favorite president. Don't like Regan either, it reminds me of being scared stiff after watching The Exorcist.
Morgana - it sounds pretty, but also a bit...sinister.
Sorry! :(

Inga makes me think of blonde comedy maids with braids - like Helga, it's one of those names Scandinavian characters are called in old films, but never in real life. If I throw that out of the window though, I rather like it; simple and short, pleasant sound, decent historical cred.
Morgana is a bit frilly for me, but it's not bad. I like Mor as a name element.
Reagan is nmsaaaaaa. Regan does have Shakespeare on its side, but it still sounds too much like a surname.

Inga isn't really my style and it reminds me a lot of Olga which I'm not really crazy about. It makes me think of Hey Arnold, with Olga and her sister, lol.
I looooooove Reagan. I need to find a way to use it for a character or something because it's one of those kind of spunky but tomboyish names that I adore. I prefer Reagan to look at, but my fingers want to type Regan.
Morgana is nice, a little over the top for me to really want to use. But I do like, it's very whimiscal and mischievous.

I think Inge is prettier than Inga. I tend to pronounce them differently (Inga = Ing-uh like singer without the S and R, Inge = Ing-guh, more distinct G). Inge is nifty although nms.
Reagan is too Ronnie for me and I hear Ray Gun. But I like Regan "REE-gən," which suggests the word regal just vaguely enough to please me.
Morgana is too luxuriant for my taste but I think it's likeable.
As a group they are full of contrasts.

Thank you! I maybe should have specified that I'm not strictly looking at them as a sister-set, but I understand the dissonance between the three.

Thank you! I do wonder how common REE-gən is for Regan, I'd never encountered it before looking it up today.
Trouble is, around here neither pronunciation is super common, so (even though I have a cousin name Regan) I can never remember which way it is pronounced and which way it is spelled. And I'm usually pretty good at that stuff.
I can't make my mind up about Inga; I want to like it it something about it seems a bit incomplete. How about Ingrid or even Sigrid?
Morgana is nice. How do you feel about Morwenna?
Reagan is not my style whatsoever.

I don't mind Morwenna, but it doesn't have the same kick Morgana has. I'm not feeling Ingrid or Sigrid today, though I don't particularly mind them.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Inga is lovely. I'm quite fond of it. And I could get behind Morgana too. It's not typically a name I'd go for, but I'd be interested to see what combos it appeared in.
I don't care for Reagan at all. And it doesn't seem to go with the others at all. It's ambiguous where the others are feminine and dull where the others are charming.

Thank you! I see your point regarding Reagan, certainly.
I love Morgana! It's an absolute favourite.
Inga is sweet. I really like it as a short form of Ingrid.
Reagan I'm not fond of, I don't mind (though I don't particularly love) the sound or spelling but I associate it with the president, and therefore trickle down economics. I also find that it's a little too trendy for me currently.

Thank you! Glad to see another Morgana appreciator.
