[Opinions] Crystal
Greetings (:
what would you name a brother or a sister to "Crystal"
Crystal isn't exactly a treasured name of mine though I never hated it. I feel it suites the character really well
The sibling would be an adult (in their 40's)
I would like known\common names. I was thinking about maybe George
Any name that YOU personal feel goes nicely with Crystal, suggest it
Thanks!

Lol! Never even accord to me. I have heard of the Jared jewrely company but Still like the name. In fact, i'm more than certain the name came first well before the company.
I also had thought about "Crystal & Mark" but I already have another character named Markus. I could still probably use it
I duno, perhaps I'll make it that their parents worked at a jewelry store haha!

I always did like the name Crystal, probably at least partly because I have an older cousin named Crystal who I always lookd up to. Still do, actually.

I think Brian or Shane would fit that age range and style well. Brandy, Amy or Renee for sisters.
You could go with Chad, Curtis or Carrie if you thought the parents were the type to alliterate.
However, if I were to use the name Crystal, I think that Jonathan or Dawn would match nicely today.

Crystal is a guilty pleasure of mine - I find it quite pretty, and I like the meaning (ice). I play with it sometimes when I'm in an OTT 80's-90's phase. Also it gained a neat association when I saw the 1939 movie "The Women" starring Joan Crawford as a character named Crystal. Seeing it in a chic retro light was really fun.
Anyways! George and Crystal seem very opposite in character - one is so staid and conservative/classic while the other is more lighthearted. So I suppose it depends what sort of tone you want the names to take. I don't dislike them together - there is just a separateness to them: like maybe they are half-siblings, or Crystal was born fifteen years after George. George is a funny name for me- it's very much an "old man name", not as contemporary-classic as something like James, Alexander, or Thomas.
These are names I could see as a sibling to Crystal (that I also think would sound nice):
Crystal & Kenneth
Crystal & Nicholas
Crystal & Craig
Crystal & Shane
Crystal & Kyle
Crystal & Michael
Crystal & Zachary
Crystal & Cameron
Crystal & Jody
Crystal & Kurt
Crystal & Ray

Larry was the name of my uncle (one of my mom's brother) who unfortunately passed away nearly 2 months back. I feel using the name would be too painful. Let's just say, no one had anything bad to say about that man.
Thanks for the name suggestion anyway
