While I like Sylvia, I slightly prefer Delaney. I've always thought of Delaney as a sunny-happy sort of name.
Have you ever thought about Sylvie instead of Sylvia? It might be a good way to combine the perkiness of Delaney with the more classic vibe of Sylvia.
