Really, really liking it lately. I've been reading a lot of Black Widow comics so I'm sure that why, but she's made me fall in love with the name and it has jumped into my Top Ten.
Her name is Natalia, nn Natasha which I prefer, but either way, super cool name imo.
Also, I cosplayed Black Widow lately and made everyone call me "Nastaha" or "Agent Romanoff" all day so maybe I'm super biased.
Seee? Natasha!
Alright, I'm over-zealous. I get it. I'm moving on.

Better than Natalie, but that's not saying much. Gives a self-satisfied impression.
I've never known a Natasha. I associate it with Natasha "Tasha" Yar from Star Trek and Natasha Fatale from Rocky and Bullwinkle. The latter association is really strong for me, despite not remembering much about the cartoon. I see Natasha, and I want to say "moose and squirrel" in my best fake Russian accent.
It's not a name I feel strongly about. It's in my nice-for-other-people category. Pleasant enough, but it doesn't grab me.

I remember I used to like this name but now I am kind of neutral to it.
I really like it. I used to be neutral on it, but now it's almost become a favorite of mine.
Natasha is a fun name, I think. It seems to have been very popular on black girls in the seventies and eighties, but now seems to be kind of European, which I guess makes sense, but it's definitely changed its image. Not fond of Tasha.
I have no associations with Natasha, and somewhat like it. It may have gotten onto our name list. But DH and I tend to romance, then nix, names that are match our very German last name but, when paired with it, sound really foreign. Natasha edges over the line.
I would definitely consider Natalia. In fact, I think it is very pretty.

Natasha is one of those names I always forget about. I like the look of the name, but the sound is quite harsh and it's IMO even worse if you shorten it to Tasha. The only Natasha I ever met, was not a pleasant person to be around that might be the reason why I never considered the name.
It's not a bad name, but there are many similar names that I prefer, for example Natalia.

It's hard for me to separate it from personal associations, because I've known two women named Natasha, and before I met the first one, I don't recall ever thinking about or considering the name. So I had no preconceived ideas. The first Natasha was loud and talkative to the point that it was annoying to everyone, and caused many people to dislike her. The second is a nice young woman but highly emotional, and you never know when you are going to come upon her when she's in one of her moods, sporting tragic eyes and a red face and will not respond when you say hello.
I don't know, I just can't. Natasha will always mean Natasha K. and Natasha G. to me and for some reason, though I don't dislike either Natasha, that makes me not crazy about the name and it's not something I could ever consider using. The closest I can come to separating it from them is to say that it sounds rather harsh.
Neither one ever went by Tasha.
