[Opinions] Balthazar, Melchior, Jasper
Even though the Bible does not mention the names or the number of the wise men, some western traditions number them at three and regard them as Arabic, Persian, and Indian scholars respectively. Just for fun, what do you think of Balthazar, Melchior and Jasper/Caspar as names? If I had triplets born at Christmas time, I might be tempted to use them but that's extremely unlikely.

Ha, we refer to them as "Balthazar, Melchior, and the Other Guy" because I can never remember Jasper (or Gaspar, my 6 year old says it is, because of a song they learned at school).
I loooooove Balthazar and Melchior though. Jasper or any similar variant is meh, boring by comparison.

A bit off topic....
I heard about some triplets that were born today. Two girls and a boy, though. They didn't report the names. It reminded me of this post, since you would be tempted to name Christmas time triplets with those names.

Balthazar and Melchior are a little too harsh for my liking. And Balthazar reminds me of the show Charmed where there was a demon named this, haha.
Jasper isn't bad. I like Jasper but not as much as I used too. Caspar isn't really my style and it reminds me of Caspar the friendly ghost, but like Jasper, it's not bad.

They're all amazing.
I know a Jasper, but the name sounds like a 49er to me. Caspar is a friendly ghost, so they're out imo, but still the most usable. Melchior is the least usable in real life. I'm not a fan of Balthazar, either. It would scream Christmas if used as a sibset, so I'd say a definite no. A less Christmas-y trio would be Jesse, David, and Joseph.
