Yes, I think Madeleine is a classic and yes I think it is too common. :) I wouldn't use it because 'Maddie' would blend in with all the Madisons and Addison. Unless I used it and assigned a different nickname early on. Like Dellie or Della or Leine "lynn".
Linnea is very nice. As much as it is less common, I still don't like it as much as Madeleine. But I would probably advocate for it,
Marie has the wonderful appeal of being simple and sweet and unusual as a first name. I think that would be my choice of the three.
