Atalo is a Greek name that means youthful.
Is Atalo a girl name or a boy name?
Diminutive suffixes --there are many-- also imply youth/youthfulness/boy/girl.

All of the derivatives of JULIUS mean "young or youthful" < (more specifically) "pubescent." [downy-bearded (cf. "peach fuzz") < JULUS, "plant's down"]
