I don't like Linnea, it makes me think of maths
I really like Madeleine, and Maddie. I think if you want to avoid Maddie though, Madeleine probably isn't the best choice
My name is Marie and I really like it. I didn't used to as kids at school used to tell me my name was Maria and I was wrong (erm... I think I know my own name) plus teachers would sometimes call me Mary or pronounce it Mah-ree which really annoyed me. These days I don't have though issues (other than people loving to stick an A on the end or Anne at the beginning??), but I like my name I think it's pretty.
