[Opinions] Kardashian/Disick BA

To be qwite honest, I think it's unfair that he didn't get a nice name. I've noticed this trend of celebrities giving their youngest child stupider names than their previous ones (like Reese Witherspoon with Tennessee, the Beckhams with Harper Seven). As someone who is the youngest child in their family, I find this really irritating.
Not a fan.
True, they were, but:
Mason was born at the end of 2009. The name Mason had been slowly rising through the 30s at that time. The next year, rocketed to 12, then to 2 the next year. 5000 extra Masons in each of the two years after Mason Disick was born.
Penelope was born mid-2012. It was definitely on the way up there, but to go from 2500 babies to 4200 babies in one year, coincidentally after a famous one? Hmmm. (I'd predict it in the 80s-90s if Penelope Disick hadn't been named Penelope.)
Yes, they were on their way up. But the Kardashians helped. Kind of like how -ella names were all pretty trendy and on the way up, but Isabella might not have ever gotten to be #1 without Twilight (Bella also peaked at the height of Twilight's popularity).
I guess I can't *prove* any of these things. You'd have to check an alternate universe.
Reign was only given to 25 boys in 2013. "Blow up" doesn't have to mean "top 100". If even 200 extra Reigns are born and it just sits right outside the top 1000, I'd consider that "blown up". The average person wouldn't know, but I would. 8)

The spelling/meaning of Reign is beyond silly, imo, and I imagine he'll grow tired of the comments he's sure to hear while growing up. Thing is, I actually like Rain and nature names in general. Also, the three sibs' names are so completely different in style. Perhaps that's what the parents were going for. FWIW, I like Penelope best of all -- by far.
