[Opinions] Re: Finnish BAs, feat. Tyko & Lumiel
in reply to a message by Remora L.
Tomas Onni Samuel (Laura and Risto), brother to Lukas - I really like the look of Tomas. Lukas and Tomas are nice, if a bit matchy.
Tyko Toomas (Krissu and Jussi) - Tyccho intrigues me since I learned about Tyccho Brahe in high school.
Lukas Artur (Suvi and Patrick), brother to Anton and Axel
Ewert Artturi (Jenny and Matti) - I've never heard of Ewert as a first name. Around here it's a last name. Do you know anything about it?
Aaro Antero (Kaisa and Timo) - two Aaro's? I assumed it was a type-o of Aaron, but I guess not.
Minea Selina Sofia (Hanna and Lassi) - Minea is so sweet. I've never heard of that before.

Ewert is a rare form of Evert: the more Finnish forms are Eevert and Eevertti.
Aaro is a Finnish form of Aaron (which is also used in Finland). Of these two Aaro is more common, though.
Minea has become a very popular name in Finland in recent years. Here you can read more of this name: http://www.behindthename.com/submit/name/minea

Aaro is kind of growing on me today. :)
Is Minea pronounced min-AY-uh? Three syllables, middle one rhymes with day?

The pronunciation of Minea is something like Mi-neh-ah: it rhymes with Linnea, another popular name in Finland.
