[Opinions] Birth announcement
In London, to South African parents Jo-Ann and Brendon: Samuel Gordon. Not what I'd expect locally, but it might be right on trend in the UK - does anyone know? And what do you think? Ln starts with S and is one syllable; not Smith!

I really quite like Samuel Gordon =) Congrats to them.

Samuel Gordon sounds solidly fine. A perfectly classic name paired with what I would assume is an honouring middle name.

I like Samuel and I don't mind Gordon in the middle name spot. I don't really like Gordon as a first though, as it reminds me of a fat man, seafood, and the nn Gordie. Blah!

Samuel is popular in the UK, but Gordon is very dated. Perhaps it's a family name?
