Jason is technically YAH-son in Swedish, that's how Jason in Greek mythology is pronounced. But it's never been common here and the parents might have been inspired by its use in English-speaking countries rather than Greek myth. So YAH-son and JAY-son (or YAY-son - easier to say in Swedish) are both possible.
