[Opinions] Any idea how to pronounce this name? (m)
I started a book today, and the main character is a woman named Ceony. Any idea on how to pronounce it? CAY-oh-nee? SAY-oh-nee? SEE-oh-nee? I'm lost, here. :/

No idea really, but I pronounced it like SAY-oh-nee.
If you aren't sure on the pronunciation then why choose it? Its probably a name which has multiple pronunciations. All of those pronunciations could be right
I say either choose something else or choose the pronunciation that you like best

I'm not choosing it for anything. I'm asking because it's the name of the protagonist in the book I'm reading, and I want to make sure I have it right.
Oh!I thought when you said "I started this book" I assumed that you were writing a story. Haha, sorry for the mix up there :P
I'm really unsure-anyone else could probably tell you the exact pronounciation. What book is it? Any good?

It's called "The Paper Magician". It's okay, so far.
Since it's Peony with a C, I'd say it thusly: SEE-oh-nee.
Cool name!

I think this is the author of the book you're reading.

Thanks! Yes, that is the book I'm reading. It reminds me of "The Night Circus", but hopefully I'll like it more. TNC didn't really do much for me, character wise.
Wow, good detective skills!
Yeah, I think you're right, and I have to say I like it more than Peony. I agree, it is a cool name. :)
