Midsummer nn Midsi or Summer would be awesome. It sounds so nice and I really want it to be usable. But it's really really not.Eda is adorable.

Fail.
Midsummer is just silly. Summer is fine, but sticking mid onto it ruins everything. Midsy is a lame nickname.
Eda just sounds like eat a. Eda Peach.

I'm not a fan of Midsummer. It just doesn't sound like a name to me.Eda is sweet. I really like it.

Midsummer does sound nice, but here in Sweden it is an important (non-Christian) festival, so it would be a little like naming your child May Day or Thanksgiving.
I know Eda is a real name, but I think it sounds like a child trying to say Eva.

I totally think that Midsummer could work with Summer as a nickname and actually it's quite beautiful. I'm not sure it has to stay a GP.Eda is okay.

Midsummer is silly to me. I would much rather go with Summer. Midsi is just strange.Eda isn't my style, either. I feel it opens itself up for too many jokes, especially if the kid is pudgy.
