They wanted to honor Lara's uncle Oliver Daniel Jackson, but also wanted to stick with the "S" theme. So they named their daughter Seanna, which is in the same family as Jackson, and gave her the middle name Danielle, obviously the feminine form of Daniel. Lara was very close with her uncle, and before he died, she promised him that she would name one of her children after him.
