I've seen Vashti in only a couple places, but appreciate its uniqueness. I think it's artsy and hip and sort of witchy, in an OTT Puritan kind of way. And then it also makes me think of eccentric Texans and country music.
I'd pair Vashti with Bathsheba "Sheba" and Bartholomew "Bart"

The sound is vaguely appealing, but a bit sneezy, & it does have a sort of blood-sacrifice goddess thing going on! so it's kind of funny to see it on farmer's wives from little English villages.
Sheba is perfect! Also goddessy and also used on farmer's wives - & I love Bartholomew.
