Theo and Lou met at the University of Worcester; Lou was in her first year studying education and befriended a young woman called Georgia who in turn introduced Lou to her brother Theo - a third-year student studying paediatrics. Theo and Lou dated for three years before Theo proposed on the evening of Lou's graduation, they decided on a summer wedding, and the ceremony was held less than a year later in July.
