Well, I'm sure it's appreciated that you left a pronunciation comment on the name when you don't even know how it's pronounced. It's Ca-lee-us, apparently. http://www.pronouncenames.com/search?name=callias
Also you need to be using only one posting name. Pick Nora or Fictionlover94, you can't be both.

"Well, I'm sure it's appreciated that you left a pronunciation comment on the name when you don't even know how it's pronounced."What does this mean?

If you go to Callias and click Comments:

So what?It does at least say "my best guess"

I suppose if I was about to post in the forums and ask how to pronounce a name, I wouldn't be posting my "best guess" before I knew. But I guess not everyone values accurate information.

I think you're being a little nit-picky and passive aggressive. She never passed it off as "accurate information" only a best guess for you to take with a grain of salt. No need to go out of your way to be rude

"Don't go out of your way," she says, as she repeatedly goes out of her way to police me in a thread she didn't even otherwise reply to. At least I answered her question. You want to know how I found out she made that comment? Because I went to the comments section to look for the pronunciation. Like, that's why people go there. For more information. And there are those posts on this forum occasionally, you know, "OMG TAYLOR IS THE BEST NAME STOP BASHING IT!" because, despite all the "not checked for accuracy" warnings, people take the comments seriously. I mean, yeah, there's no rule against posting incorrect information (and I never! claimed that she said that what she was posting was accurate, I do understand what "best guess" means, thank you!), but if you are literally in the process of obtaining the correct information, why would you post the wrong stuff in the mean time? But thanks for the advice, next time I won't go out of my way to do the research on the correct pronunciation either.

Here's a scenario: she looked to the comments for more info, seeing that that was none and possibly figuring that others would have similar inquiries, she decides to post her best guess at pronunciation. Then, she realizes that she could ask for clarification on the message board. Just a thought, maybe one you should have considered before being confused and then becoming preachy about why she would do such a thing. Either way it's not something I think you needed to call her out on. Unnecessary, IMO, and that's all I was saying. You most certainly inferred that she was passing off inaccurate information by your last sentence- "I guess some people don't value accurate information" -or at least inferring that I don't value accuracy, which I find to be offensive. I didn't answer her post because I don't have an answer, (which is why I was reading the responses) If you did then you could have given it with out all the attitude. Maybe this is out of my way but I'd rather go out of my way to call someone else on their rudeness, than go out of my way to be rude.

Here's another scenario: I have witnessed this poster post a lot of inaccurate information in the past and I'm finally calling her out because now she's doing it in the more-permanent comments instead of just on the forum.
or at least inferring that I don't value accuracy, which I find to be offensive.I meant her.
