Thanks for these! I always like to read the "French-from -France" names.
I'm (for new posters) in French-speaking Canada, and many of the names popular, or indeed used, in France have no crossed the ocean at all.

Also, 2 middle names. Here, the current trend is to have one name only.

I might say that my own first child, a son, has two middle names, but we didn't repeat that, with the other two. He finds it kind of tiresome sometimes, though he's patient about it.
