[Facts] Wriddhiman Saha
The name of this Bengali Cricketer is interesting to me as it is pronounced (at least by English speaking announcers) exactly like my last name. It has been discussed in the past (here: http://www.behindthename.com/bb/fact/3767984) with suggestions that it may have Germanic roots. That thread is archived, otherwise I would have replied directly to it.
My family is from Germany (via a several detours, mostly France it seems). I wonder if some of them ended up in Bangladesh. I'm not sure if Wriddhiman is family name or a given name. Perhaps it's just a coincidence.

I do not think the name has Germanic roots, or that was what was suggested in that thread. It is a purely Bengali name.
