It's on the fence. One second it's a great nature-name; the next it's over-the-top try-too-hard lame. Sadly, that last part is what's winning.
As a nickname for Estelle or Starla, it could certainly work.

This is also what keeps happening to me. I curse the double-meaning of this word! :D
I feel a little that using it as a nn for Estelle keeps the nature association..
