I read Talya as Tayla when I'm skimming. Talia would be 'Those kinds of things' in Latin, or 'Such things'. Tahlia looks like TAHleea and Dahlia sounds like DAYleea where I live.
On balance, I don't like it whatever the spelling. And I've never encountered one IRL either.
