I came across the name Carra yesterday on a blog, I don't think I'd ever heard it before so I don't have any associations with it. I can see the appeal but it's not really my style although it might grow on me. It does seem fairly bright.
Cara and Kara do strike me as a bit dated and I have a negative personal association with Kara which puts me off it.
Carra I'd pronounce like in the word "carry" whereas Cara is "Cah-ra" like Lara, Tara, Zara etc.
This reminds me, I was going to record some pronunciations like Ora did in another thread. If I do, I'll had Carra, Carrie, Cara and Kerry to it!
