I think the name itself is adorable:) I do prefer the spelling of Finley, but I'm not sure if with the "ay" spelling, you are pronouncing it Finn-lay? Even when I read Finlay I tend to pronounce it Finn-lee, which I adore. Also the nn Finn:)
I like Finn Peter the better of your two combos, although Finn does seem more nicknamey to me. So I'd do Finlay Peter and nn Finn. I don't care for George, but since it's an honoring, well...:)
How about Finlay Joshua, Finlay Gavin, Finlay Gage, Finlay Patrick, or Finlay Malcolm?
