Everett. Everald seems fairly unique to me (I haven't noticed it before), and my personal impression is that it doesn't really have anything going for it that makes it better than Everett, except that it isn't popular. I think the -ald ending (like Donald Ronald Archibald Reginald Harald) feels stodgy, and Everald sounds like Emerald and Everild (both feminine to me). But, it's not a bad name for any reason I can think of. Just doesn't appeal to me as much as Everett.

Of those two, I prefer Everett. But I like Everard better, just because it's less common. I actually know several Everetts.

I prefer Everett.
It feels lighter, less stuffy and oldish.
