Help[Opinions] Unusual local BA's
In the local paper, amidst a sea of expected names:
Boys: Vash Danger (I won't provide the surname, but it, too, is super-hero: think rhymes with Bowers).
Aneken Tyberius
Girls: Nyx Alette
Aliyah Michael (I don't get the Aliyah thing, but Aliyah is big around here--many of them).

I will refrain from commenting on Vash Danger.
Anneke is a Dutch girl's name, so it sounds odd to me on a boy. I wouldprefer Tiberius, but it's not too terrible.
I actually have Nyx as a GP. Alette is not too bad either. So a decent name to me.
Aliyah Michael is a mess.

Vash Danger is horrible, sounds like a Marvel character.
Alette is nice enough, but Nyx is nms.

Aliyah is understandable, in a way that doesn't appeal to me. Tyberius would be nice in a dorky, silly, OTT GP way (if it were Tiberius) and the same for Nyx. Vash, Danger, Aneken and Michael just make me want to shout like a lunatic and throw things out of my window... pardon the turn of phrase!
Vash is genuinely one of the ugliest names I've seen for a while, and I say this as someone who thinks Vashti is weird-ugly-pretty. Danger is so bloody stupid. And I really hate Alette, and I don't know why, maybe it's dislike by association.

Maybe there are a lot of Aaliyah fans in your area. I like it better than Nyx.
