Hair: Very dark brown and straight, wears it long with long layers and no fringe, sometimes lightly curled
Eyes: Cinnamon brown
Career: Children's book author; she met her husband through her publishing firm

Year 1 (Roll 6): Jonathan and Youko aren't ready to have kids quite yet, but they decide to adopt a sweet Peterbald cat with peach-fuzz silver fur and tabby markings whose owner couldn't keep up with its specific needs. They rename her Kasumi because she looks like mist in the morning.

Year 2 (Roll 1/5): It's a girl! The Séverin family welcomes Aimi Délia, who is appropriately chubby and laughs a lot as soon as she can. As she gets older she continues to be outgoing and personable. She looks like her mother, except for her lips, which remind them of Jonathan's mother's pretty pout (whose name is Aimi's middle name), and a slight curl to her hair.

Year 3 (Roll 1): Youko gets picked up by a publishing house based in New York City, and the little family decides to move for at least a few years. Although they are reluctant to take Aimi away from her granparents so soon, their decision is made easier by the fact that one of Youko's older sisters, Kiyoko, lives (fairly nearby) in Toronto. Jonathan is excited to travel back to the city where he studied for a time in university.

Year 4 (Roll 4/3): Baby 2 is a boy! Welcome to Léo Youta. Youta is in homage to Youko's father, Souta, whose name shares a written and meaning element with Youta, as well as being similar in look to Youko's name. Léo they just liked, but is also in honor of Jonathan's paternal grandfather, Léandre. Little Léo Youta is energetic and brave, and becomes athletic and witty. He has a shock of ample straight dark brown, almost black, hair from birth. Against all genetic odds, has his father's hazel eyes.

Year 5 (Roll 2/3/4): Jonathan is promoted (meaning he's gotten very well known and has a lot of work and income flowing in) so they move back to Japan to be near family while Youta, who discovers she is three months pregnant, decides to take a hiatus from writing to manage the family. The new baby, Manon (nickname Mana) Shiori has reddish brown wavy hair like her father, and her mother's brown eyes. She is more serious than her older sister, and inherits her parents artistic interests.
