[Opinions] Leda
Replies
I would probably like it, if it wasn't for the fact that "leda" means either "boredom" or "to lead" in Swedish.
When I say it aloud it reminds me of a New Yorker or someone from Boston saying the word "leader" lol
I love Leda. I never use it though. It's easy to look over but once you pay it attention, it shines.
I brought up that name here when I was pregnant, because it has a sound I like ... and most of the replies said that Leda and the Swan makes it unusable. I sort of agree with that now.
I agree, it's a lovely name. Similar to the classics Lea and Lena but less common, which is a plus :) I pronounce it in a different way, though: LE-dah (it's closer to the original Greek pronunciation I guess)
From your combo's I like Leda Rosalind the best. Both soft, feminine names and the whole combo rolls of the tongue easily.

Thanks! I like:
Leda Irene
Leda Imogen
Leda Seraphine
Leda Phaenna - this is interesting, I've never heard of Phaenna before. How do you pronounce it?
Leda Evelyne - I'd probably spell it Eveline though
Leda Scarlett - I really love this. Scarlett adds some spice to Leda which, in my mind at least, seems very sweet and feminine.
