The meaning is irrelevant to me. I think it's one of the dullest, palest, safest, most ubiquitous girls' names out there. It's almost like the default Jane or Mary, only more contemporary even though it's been used just as long as those other two. It always makes me think of parents at the hospital, seeing their new baby girl, and after nine months still unable to come up with a name for her, so they say "Well, let's call her Sarah. That's a nice name."
