It's saved for me by the playwright Samuel Beckett, and the fact that he wrote some of the most bizarre, f8cked up plays I've ever read.
So, it's nms, but he makes it seem edgy and creative to me.

Yeah, Samuel Beckett is one of the reasons I like it :)
I'm not sure I'd ever really use it, it isn't usually my style. But my boy's list was feeling stale and boring and everything usually 'my style' just wasn't cutting it.
