I would say it as A- lees-a, that is your intention right? If so its pretty obvious to me, however there just seems to be people who look at or hear a name and have something in there head that sticks and its not always the actual name! This seems like one of those problems. Nice name but I think that because Alyssa is used more people may just get confused.
