It's cute. It's off the beaten path but nature names are a familiar concept. I would probably get used to it if I knew a Maple.
I very much dislike Mabel. I think it's old and dumpy without being at all charming.
FYI Actor Jason Bateman has a daughter Maple Sylvie. I would avoid an S middle name personally as Maple S. Bateman is like handing people a maple syrup joke. :-P
