Mira has been working hard to rise up the ranks in her field for the last three years and work for the UN has led her to spend a year in India. (dogs Phoebe and Rogue have been spending time with Ev and his dog Willow). Being career driven, she has never put much thought into having children just yet. However having spent some time working with orphaned children in India she has made a special bond with a three year old girl. Mira has decided to adopt her and though the adoption process was lengthy and difficult because Mira will be a single parent, her financial stability and status in the UN has allowed the adoption to pass. Mira misses her dogs very much and will return home soon with her new child. Her daughter already has a given Indian name and Mira would like to give her a middle name that means or implies hope or freedom (very loose definition, does not have to be exact).

When both Finn and Autum finished their degrees, Autumn was given an opportunity to work at an elephant sanctuary in Kenya on a two year contract. Finn decided to follow her there as he could not bear to be away from her for that long. He has spent the last two years teaching English to Kenyan children and has been working on his first novel on the side. Both Finn and Autumn have loved their African experience and are about to return home with news that Autumn is pregnant! They do not want to know the gender till it is born so will need a name for a boy or girl. His or her first name will be from Harry Potter, a childhood favourite for both Autumn and Finn http://www.harrypotter.ca/index-characters.php and his or her middle name will be inspired by Africa or be an animal name . Also because Finn is writing his first novel he wants to give himself a pen name. He wants the first name to be unisex so that his readers will not be biased by his gender and he wants his last name to be his mother's maiden name (an unusual sounding name that has a good ring to it)

Being a mother has made Alice grow up a lot and she loves her gorgeous son Lachlan. Cody has also proven to be a wonderful father. Alice is once again pregnant and it looks like twins run in the family because Alice is carrying boy girl twins, just like her and Finn!. She wants to honour her own twin by giving her daughter the initials FO. She also wants to honour her new son's father by giving him the initials AB. Cody's only request is that none of the names are old fashioned or fuddy-duddy as he hates his own given name, they can however be classic names

She still paints in her spare time though and has exhibited her work at the local art gallery. She has begun dating someone new who lives much closer to home.
