Meh, I'm not a fan. It's too plain for me and far too common. Besides, it's the name of my MIL. 'Nuff said. ;-)
I do have one good friend (Sarah Jean) who goes by Jeanie. The name suits her.
Could Jean make a comeback? It's possible yet it's still a pretty common mn. I can actually see Jane making a comeback before Jean. I could be wrong, though.

Where I live Jean is actually a pretty famous historic name. She was a big deal because she was a pilot and broke lots of flying records and she was also a woman in the 30's being a pilot which is pretty unheard of. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Batten
