[Opinions] Reid
This name was on my favourites a long time ago and has made a reappearance. Last time I talked about it on here it got a mostly negative reaction. I've recently posted a few polls and it appears people quite like it so I thought I'd ask again, what are your thoughts on Reid?

Reid is okay. I think I prefer it as a middle name though. There is something about it that looks good on paper but doesn't sound good to me verbally.
I like Reid. It's quiet and friendly. This is my preferred spelling as well.
This is a fairly common surname where I grew up. I do know one man so named, a friend of one of my sons.(He's usually called "Reidie".)
It's an ok name, I see nothing against it.

I really like it, it's a family name for me and I'd use it if my fiance liked it :)
I've only known one, and he's was a cool dude. Not for mine, though.
I really like it. Both as Reid (which is mostly how the last name is spelled where I'm from) and Reed (which is how people spell their sons' names as a general rule around here for whatever reason).
Yeah, I'm not sure how to spell it. I've only ever known one and he spelled it Reed. But a lot of people I've spoke to find it odd to be spelled that way
I like Reid! It reminds me of Dr. Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds. He's one of my favorite characters ever.
I imagine a Reid to be a very sweet and nice guy. Yup, Reid is a good name. And I prefer Reid over Reed.

I agree, it's a great association, he's my favourite on the show too
I've been partial to Reid as a middle name lately. But I've never found a combo I've loved. I briefly considered it with my last son. It would have been Lachlan Reid.
