When Phoebe found out that she was pregnant she was delighted and she knew Jude would be, too. They hadn't been planning on having a child so soon, in fact, they didn't even live together yet! When Phoebe told Jude, he sat quit for a moment before giving her one of his big, lovely smiles. Phoebe moved in with Jude and Max two weeks later.
Max was a little unsure of having a siblings, and it didn't get better when Jude and Phoebe announced that it was a girl. But, when little Alice was born, Max warmed up and couldn't get enough of HIS baby. However, the birth of baby Alice didn't go as the couple had planned...
Jude was out of state to visit his ill grandmother when Phoebe started going into labour, three weeks early! She called Jude who took the first flight back to NY, but when he arrived, Alice was already born. Jude was devastated that he missed his daughter's birth, but he made it up to Phoebe by proposing....and she said yes!
Just after Alice's birth something unexpected happen to Jude. He is diagnosed with diabetes. He is shocked, but he is determined not to let it stop him from living the life he want.
