Jessica has lived in the same house her whole life, only taking a break to go to college just an hour away. As an only child she may have been just a bit spoiled as a child. She's outgoing, friendly, and all her students like her. She coaches the school's varsity cheerleading squad, after their previous coach decided she didn't want to anymore.

Alex moved once in his life, when he was four years old, and lived in the same house until college, after which, he went out and got an apartment. He has a 20-year-old brother, Jonathan, who is still in college. He's outgoing, funny, but can be strict when he wants to be. He coaches the school's baseball team.
Jessica and Alex met when Jessica started working at the school three years ago. They are very much in love, even their students started asking about it. They tried to hide it at first, denying everything, saying they were just good friends, but finally Alex revealed to his class that yes, he and "Miss Warner" were dating. A few months after that, they are now engaged, and Alex has moved into Jessica's house, her house for practical reasons, as the mortgage on the house has long since been paid off, and if they'd moved into the apartment, they'd have less space, and would have to pay rent. They've set a wedding date for December, in two months.
