Aaron and Vera married in a quiet spot one January, a small and modest wedding two months after Aaron returned from his deployment. The following September, Ana and Liam followed, in a slightly fancier wedding (though not by much; while Ana was one for garden receptions and female guests in pretty hats, Liam was considerably more reclusive in nature, and they compromised this way).
Predictably, ere long, Erik and Reg welcomed their first grandchildren. Ana and Liam had their first daughter a year before Aaron and Vera had twins; little Mila was just over a year old when Justina and Gwen were born. Meanwhile, Lex had started a steady relationship with one of her housemates - although "started", according to her, is a misnomer, as no-one was quite sure when the two changed from best friends to officially together. Somewhat hilariously, her boyfriend's name was Alex, which resulted in plenty of confusion when they first shared lodgings until another fellow housemate suggested they go on a surname basis. Therefore, it was with considerable hilarity that Lex came to a family dinner to introduce "Riddle" to everyone, and it soon became a standing joke that their marriage will result in a Mr Alex Riddle and a Mrs Alex Riddle. Despite the jesting, however, the Summerses as a whole took to Alex Riddle quite well - especially Aaron, who became fast friends with his potential brother-in-law - and it was clear that the match was approved.
