One of your children dies in a accident. Who? What happened?
A keen motorcyclist, Patrick was on his way home when he was struck by a car at a junction. The driver in question was himself a young man, who had been on the phone at the time. He called an ambulance and stayed with Patrick until they arrived, sadly Patrick died before the paramedics were able to get to him. The entire family took his passing very hard but particularly Hal, who had considered Patrick his closest friend.
