[Opinions] Re: Luna
LOVE IT
And it's strangely honouring for me. I've always found Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter very inspiring and she learnt me some valuable lessons, however cheesy that may sound.
I can't use it, though. I have two acquaintances called this and it would sound a bit odd if I named my daughter Luna. And the Dutch pronunciation doesn't really appeal to me; it sounds more like LEW-nah or LUGH-nah (As in Hugh) as opposed to LOO-nah. I can't really explain it.Combos though...Luna Cassandra
Luna Guinevere
Luna Fiona
Luna Esther (Moon and star)
Luna Genevieve
Luna Harmonia
Luna Hazel
Luna Hermione (Going crazy here with the Potter combos)
Luna Josephine
Luna Juniper
Luna Molly (See Luna Hermione)
Luna Parthenope
Luna Scarlett
Luna Victoria
Luna Percy (See Luna Hermione)

Ooh, Luna Quill is a pretty cool combo!
Luna Esther and Luna Guinivere are great.Hey, how's this for an invented name: Quinevere!

Quinevere is certainly novel! But I've seen a couple of references, here in South Africa, to women named Queeneth. At first I thought it might be referencing their (future!) regal behaviour (I queen, thou queenest, she queeneth ...), but more realistically it's probably a mishearing of Gwyneth.

Uhh, it's really not that similar, also I'm not naming babies, also I don't care!

Not everyone lives in a place where there is Lunesta, though ... I had to look it up.
